This review is from: Pink Flamingoed (Book 1 Aylesford Place Humorous Christian Romance Series) (Kindle Edition)
The story generally covers a tight-knit neighborhood and the relationships between all who live there and focuses on good Christian behavior. I got to about the 30th percentile of completion on my Kindle and just gave up. Why? It didn’t seem to have a plot or crisis at all. Other reviewers related to humor but apparently I just didn’t get it. There were too many characters for my aging mind to keep track of and their stereotypical good intentions were just too good for me to stomach. I oh-so wanted to continue but the story seemed to plod on and on like someone’s diary. Apparently a lot of other readers liked it but it was certainly not for this reader. Disappointing.
